This site allows excavators the capability to submit updates or remarks for existing locate requests, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Update Requests are reviewed by the call center to make sure the request is valid. Valid requests will be processed by the call center and a confirmation in the form of the update locate request ticket is sent to the user by email.
Most requests submitted, between 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding observed holidays, will be processed by MS811 on the same business day. Requests submitted after 4:00pm, Monday through Friday or on observed holidays will be processed by MS811 on the next business day.
